MasonBaronet’s work accepted into The Dallas Show and wins first place award in AIGA’s Texas Show

MasonBaronet, a leading marketing communications firm located in Dallas, Texas, announces they have won the first place award for promotional design in AIGA’s Texas Show. Their 2011 Holiday Video will be featured in The Texas Show’s traveling exhibition.

The Texas Show was launched in 2010 as the first Texas-wide design competition run by the Texas chapters of the AIGA, the national association for professional design. This biennial design event is comprised of a competition, awards ceremony, catalog, and a traveling exhibit comprised of the winners of the competition. For the first time, after the exhibit travels to all of the Texas AIGA’s chapter cities, it will go to New York City and close at AIGA’s National Design Center.

MasonBaronet has also been selected to be part of the 2012 Dallas Society of Visual Communications Professional Show (The Dallas Show). The work that will be exhibited includes the MasonBaronet D CEO Advertising Campaign, MasonBaronet Holiday Video, and a Direct Mail Campaign for Robin Pou.

The Dallas Show is one of the preeminent creative competitions in the region, showcasing the best of the past year’s accomplishments in design, advertising, photography, and illustration.

“I think we all know how stressful the holidays can be, so we wanted to take that idea of being ‘wound up’, and add some holiday humor to it. The video was originally sent out in an HTML email to clients, prospects and colleagues. We were happy to see it go viral with many of the recipients sharing it on their social media sites and with friends and colleagues. We are very excited to be recognized by our peers for the project,” said Holly Mason, CEO, MasonBaronet. “We are also really proud of the campaign we produced for Robin Pou as well as our advertising campaign, that are being included in the DSVC Professional Show.”

“It is a great compliment to be recognized for doing work we are so proud of,” said Frances Yllana, associate creative director, MasonBaronet. “We had an outstanding time producing these projects.”
