Dallas-based agency awarded Platinum, Gold and Honorable Mention at creative competition
(DALLAS) - MasonBaronet, a Dallas advertising agency specializing in branding, is proud to announce that it has received four awards from the 2018 MarCom awards in the Platinum, Gold and Honorable Mention categories for client work.
MarCom, administered by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP), is one of the oldest and most prestigious creative competitions in the marketing and communications industries. Winners are selected from over 300 categories in print, web, video and strategic communications from professionals in over 100 countries.
“It is an honor to have our work recognized on an international level, especially among thousands of entries,” said Holly Mason, owner of MasonBaronet. “Producing effective work on behalf of our clients is satisfying enough, but getting recognized by our peers is gratifying.”
MasonBaronet’s entries included work in a variety of industries produced in the last calendar year. Among the submissions are two Platinum winners, one of which is a completely new website for NAPExpo.com, a longstanding agency client. NAPExpo serves the upstream oil and gas industry by hosting the world’s largest events to showcase prospects to investors. MasonBaronet also won Platinum for AIGA DFW’s Tarot Cards. Established in 1914, AIGA is one of the oldest and largest communities of design advocates and practitioners. The agency was honored to design the overall look, packaging and design for the cards along local AIGA members.
Winning Gold was the agency’s inventive “Folding Falcon” created for Bishop Dunne, a private school in Dallas. The educational marketing piece included folding instructions to transform it into a falcon, the school’s mascot. Receiving Honorable Mention for the agency was a poster for Babel, a documentary play presented by the teens of Cry Havoc Theater, utilized to promote the provocative performance on gun violence in America.
“We are proud to have our work honored by MarCom and are looking forward to sharing the exciting news with our clients and team,“ said Kristin Baxter, creative director of MasonBaronet. “Awards like these help inspire and give further validation to our work.”
Founded in 2004, MarCom has grown into an internationally renowned competition highlighting outstanding achievement by creative professionals. The MarCom awards this year recognize winners ranging from individual communicators to Fortune 500 companies.
