Emily Zazado can see the forest and the trees. Her eye for detail comes from the agency world, where she’s managed a variety of accounts in the retail, manufacturing, and food & beverage industries — helping clients plan and execute smart, focused campaigns across multiple channels. At the same time, her work on the client side as the PR lead over North and South America for a global travel company gives her a unique, high-level perspective on the strategic needs of businesses.
Our relationship goes back to the early 2000s, when Emily worked at a PR agency that collaborated with MasonBaronet on a global building products brand. Now, as part of the MasonBaronet team, she guides clients by planning, implementing, and managing the day-to-day business of their advertising, email, and social media communications.
When she can comfortably take at least one eye off of our clients’ accounts, Emily and her family, which includes her husband and young daughter, enjoy exploring their new hometown of Austin. She says it reminds her of her alma mater — the University of Wisconsin in Madison — only much hillier (and a lot warmer).
